MONROE, La. — According to www.thenewsstar.com, Ronald G. Underwood Jr., 40, is facing charges after using a saw to free his truck from brushes at a carwash.
The arrest report for Underwood stated that the manager of Master Lube contacted the sheriff’s office, reporting that a white Chevrolet had gone through the carwash and that the bristle from the rolling brush got tangled in equipment in the bed of the truck, the article continued.
Video footage that the manager provided shows the driver then exited the vehicle, the article noted, and cut the bristle from the equipment using a saw.
The manager put the value of the bristle at $3,400, the article added.
Deputies contacted Underwood, who admitted to cutting the brush to get it untangled from the equipment, the article stated.
Underwood was booked into Ouachita Correctional Center on charges of simple criminal damage to property, $500 to $50,000, the article concluded.
