TAMARAC, Fla. — SONNY’S The CarWash Factory recently announced the specifications on a new class of outdoor digital menus explicitly engineered for the carwash industry, according to a press release.

Designed with visibility, durability and performance in mind, the Samsung OH46D displays are readable in direct sunlight, withstand extreme ambient temperatures and are both impact- and vandal-resistant.

Multi-site operators have the flexibility to schedule updates across locations by property, by state, by wash type or other business specific criteria, the release noted.

Carwash operators will captivate their audiences with the auto brightness sensor built into the complete all-on-one Samsung Outdoor Signage Solutions that adjust from 200 nit to 3,000 nit for perfect day and night visibility, the release stated.

“Partnering with SONNY’s as they integrate the Samsung OH series displays is yet another example of how there is an increasing need to move from static to digital signage in the retail and transportation industries to properly inform customers and increase their customer base,” said Ron Gazzola, senior vice president of B2B IT Sales & Marketing for Samsung Electronics America. “Digital signage offers more versatility than static signage featuring an unlimited number of messages, engaging graphics, videos and scheduling capabilities so messages are never out of date.
