Multi-profit business receives service award

CHICAGO — The award recognized AOCA members that are important in affecting the communities they serve.

The Nov. 14 release stated that Steve Berkman of Foothill Car Wash Lube Oil & Detail Center received the Edward S. O’Neill Community Service Award. This recognizes AOCA members that are important in affecting the communities they serve.

Controversial wash/oil change location under construction

The awards were presented at the AOCA Annual Membership Meeting held in Las Vegas on Oct. 29. Other awards included the Member of the Year and Associate of the Year.

“The AOCA is a successful and thriving organization because of the amazing people that belong to our organization. We feel it is extremely important to recognize their important contributions and celebrate the great people who work in our industry and belong to our organization,” Pat Wirth, AOCA president, said.
