ST. JOSEPH, Mich. — Soft Touch Car Wash recently opened in St. Joseph, Michigan, according to The Herald-Palladium.
The wash held a soft opening on June 6 to see “how many people could come through at one time,” and the site officially opened June 8, stated the article.
"We are trying to get everyone acclimated to coming through here," said Soft Touch Car Wash General Manager Scott Crawford in the article. "Everyone's used to getting their car washed in Stevensville or Benton Harbor, so we are hoping they notice us here."
Soft Touch Car Wash offers deals ranging from a soft cloth carwash and power rinse to using a rust inhibitor and clear coat protectant, reported the article.
Prices range from a basic wash for $7 to the “Ultimate” package for $17, the article continued.
The wash is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., added the article, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
"One of the owners has three other carwashes in Indiana, so this was a way to branch out," stated Crawford in the article. "We were hearing a lot of people saying they don't have a carwash in St. [Joseph]. That's kind of where the idea came about."
