PC&D is preparing our Top 50 conveyor carwashes list, should your wash be included?

The Top 50 carwash list is an annual tradition at PC&D, and one of the main ways that people in the industry follow the success of other washes.

If you think your wash deserves a spot on the 2014 Top 50 list, tell PC&D and you could be featured in this annual list. Conveyor carwashes are arranged by the number of locations they operate; in 2013, Mister Car Wash took the top spot with 122.

In order to keep our list accurate, we are asking you to send an email to Editor Phillip Lawless and include:

  • The name of the carwash chain
  • Your website
  • The number of locations, and
  • The location of the carwash headquarters, or where the first location was opened.

If a new location is not open yet, but will be opening before September 1, it can be included in the total. If you have any questions, please email Phillip Lawless, or call him at 205-408-3744.

The list will be featured in the upcoming October issue of Professional Carwashing & Detailing. The deadline for your submission is July 31.

Three master detailers to be caretakers for vintage cars at car show

ENCINITAS, Calif. — According to a press release, three Master-certified automotive detailers from San Diego County prepped two vintage cars for a car show.

3D Car Care Master-certified detailer Jose Junco with High Performance Auto Detail in Encinitas/North San Diego County, California, Dr. Beasley Master-certified detailer Aldo Alba of ASAP Auto Detail in Rancho Bernardino/Poway, California, and Gloss-It Master-certified trainer Royer Horton of Got Detail in San Diego were at the Petersen Museum earlier this week.
