HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, MI — A carwash and c-store here added a Tim Horton’s Café and Bake Shop, mlive.com reported.
The Dec. 28 story stated that the popular donut and coffee location was opened in a Quality Car Wash location. The company had been looking for a new customer attraction at its locations, and after studying a number of offerings, Tim Horton’s was the “best fit.”
“Now we have all bases covered, from gas and carwashes to get-it-and-run snacks and now, we have your favorite coffee and donuts,” Quality Car Wash General Manager Mardi Brower said in the story.
Tim Horton’s first began cobranding with Cold Stone Creamery locations in 2009. Founded by a hockey star, the donut chain currently has approximately 4,200 locations worldwide.
A third of Quality’s floor space was renovated to accommodate the donut shop. A customer counter with about a dozen seats will be added after the opening.
