LOS ANGELES — According to www.ktla.com, a shooter remains at large after he shot and killed an employee of Mike’s Car Wash Express in South Los Angeles just after 11 a.m. on April 26th.
The victim, 41-year-old Raymundo Alfredo Cardona, was pronounced dead at the scene, the article continued.
The suspect opened fire inside the carwash and hit Cardona, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, but officials have yet to release any details about a possible motive, the article noted.
An off-duty Los Angeles police sergeant heard the shots and responded to the scene, where he tried to detain the suspect and shot at him, the article added.
The suspect managed to flee, and it was not apparent if he had been shot, the article concluded.
