AKRON, Ohio — The Professional Carwashing & Detailing team is preparing the 2019 Top 50 list of the largest conveyor carwash chains in the U.S. based on number of locations.
Do you own multiple conveyor carwash locations and think you can make it onto this year’s list? Last year, it took at least 10 locations to make it.
In order to be considered, please send the following information to Associate Publisher – Editorial Rich DiPaolo at [email protected] by Sept. 13th:
- The name of the carwash chain
- Website address
- Number of locations (by Nov. 1, 2019)
- The location of the carwash’s headquarters or where the first location was opened.
Any conveyor location scheduled to open before Nov. 1st can be included in the total.
Last year saw a shakeup in the top 5. Mister Car Wash continued its reign in first place. However, Zips Car Wash managed to edge out over International Car Wash Group for second place, while the latter came in third. Autobell Car Wash took fourth place, and the newest member of the top 5 rounded out fifth: Quick Quack Car Wash.
Of further note is the fact that there were 132 more locations in just the top 10 carwashes compared to the 2017 list (from 758 to 890) — a 17.4 percent increase.
