MANKATO, MN — Temperatures here remained in the low 20’s Sunday making for long lines at some carwashes, KEYC reported.
The Jan. 6 story stated that below average temperatures and cloudy days kept people here from washing their cars for a few weeks. Now, with a few sunny days, many customers were choosing to remove the salt and grime from their cars.
Simple and profitable extra services
Since the dirt and grime can often get inside a vehicle, many customers were opting for interior details as well.
According to one owner, the day of the week and the time do not really matter to carwash customers. "If the weather is right it can be busy all day long,” Jeff Johnson, owner of Gerring's Car Wash, said in the story.
