WAUSAU, Wis. — Riiser Energy is marking its 70th anniversary with a week-long celebration, according to CSPnet.com.
The celebration will kick off on Sept. 20, stated the article, and R-Store convenience stores will offer a Green Bay ticket giveaway, in-store sales and app specials.
The company was established in 1945 by Arthur Riiser, reported the release, and Arthur’s son, Tom, purchased the company in 1960.
Dick Dudley and Jim Kemerling purchased Riiser Energy in 1999, added the release.
“Over the 40 years I owned Riiser, we expanded the convenience stores by 10 locations,” said Tom Riiser in the article. “We had a strong focus on growth and expansion, which laid the groundwork for the company’s success that followed.”
Riiser Energy now owns a fleet of delivery trucks, three truck stops and 26 R-Store c-stores, noted the article, and employs around 350 associates.
“We have succeeded in our first 70 years, and intend to succeed in our next 70 years,” stated Kemerling, president of CEO of Riiser Energy, in the article.
