Innovative Control Systems welcomes new communications manager

WIND GAP, Pa. — Jason Sears is a 15-year veteran of the car care industry with extensive sales, management and communications experience.

WIND GAP, Pa. — Innovative Control Systems announced Jason Sears has joined the company as communications manager, according to a press release.

Sears is a 15-year veteran of the car care industry, stated the release, with extensive sales, management and communications experience.

In his new position, reported the release, Sears will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s marketing department, heading e-learning initiatives for customers and employees and innovating customer-facing communication across multiple channels including digital, print, video and trade shows.

Sears began his carwash career at Hamilton Manufacturing in 2001, continued the release, where he served as national sales manager.

In 2006, SONNY’S The Car Wash Factory recruited Sears as an equipment sales manager, informed the release, for which he helped streamline the efficiency of the sales department and enhance distributor relationships.

He joined Ecolab in 2008, noted the release, working his way up to the position of key account executive, where he developed and grew key relationships with the largest vehicle care organizations in the U.S.

“Jason has distinguished himself in all three segments of the vehicle care industry,” said Kevin Detrick, president of ICS, in the release. “He understands chemicals; he understands carwash equipment manufacturing; and he has a solid understanding of the third component of the commercial carwash industry: point of sale. But more importantly, he understands that in order to be truly successful you must help your customer become successful first; and that philosophy makes him a great fit for ICS.”
