CHARLES, Ill. — El Diamante Hand Car Wash & Detailing reopened its doors on Dec. 1 with a brand new look, according to the Kane County Chronicle.
Thanks to its loyal customers, the Gonzalez-Mendez family, the carwash underwent a makeover, stated the article, which included fresh paint, new furniture and new flooring.
Naye Gomez, manager of the wash, reported that owner Alejandra Sanchez describes the family as “angels here on Earth,” continued the article.
“They offered to pay for everything,” said Gomez in the article. “It was really kind of them.”
El Diamante closed Nov. 28-29 for the cosmetic changes, reported the article, which Gomez stated included revamps of the facility’s exterior, break room, bathroom, carpeting and flooring.
Gomez said several people contributed with labor, informed the article, and customers were supportive of the upgrades during the reopening.
The Gonzales-Mendez family have frequented the hand wash for around four years, noted the article, which will celebrate its seven anniversary in April.
