CLEVELAND — Over half of online traffic is now coming from mobile platforms, according to Small Business Trends.
A comScore report stated smartphones and tablets now combine for 60 percent of online traffic, up from 50 percent the previous year. A total of 51 percent of that traffic comes from mobile apps, like those for Facebook and Spotify.

While mobile continues to increase in online traffic, only 23 percent of organic traffic (from search engines like Goolge), is coming from Android and iPhone devices, with 12 percent coming from tablets.
Mobile activity, notes the article, grew 55 percent over the past year. Facebook alone accounts for 24 percent of mobile activity online.
