MELFORT, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA — Spiffy Car Wash is now open for business here and it includes automatic wash bays, and a pet washing station, the Melfort Journal reported.
The May 21 story said husband and wife team, Ron and Jocelyn Ferguson, have already seen a lot of repeat customers. “Once they have come here and seen it and tried it there has been a lot of repeat businesses,” Ron said in the story. “Just getting them through the door is a big thing, but everyone has been really happy with the quality of the wash.”
To prepare themselves, the Fergusons visited dozens of carwashes to see what they liked and wanted to include in theirs.
They couple are trying to keep the business as green as possible and installed automatic lights and a green ventilation system.

As for the pet wash, Ron said it's building momentum. “It is a novelty thing. We have already had over 30 dogs through in the dog wash,” he said in the story.
And soon they will be offering detail services. “You can have your vehicle back in half an hour we have a little coffee spot in there so you can have coffee and read the paper while you wait,” Jocelyn said in the story.
