Nisa undergoes personnel changes

SCUNTHORPE, England — Since taking over a month ago, the new CEO is focused on doing the basics well.

SCUNTHORPE, England — Nick Read, Nisa’s new CEO, has made several changes to the company’s workforce since taking over a month ago, according to a press release.

Guy Smith has been appointed to the post of interim chief financial officer (CFO), noted the release. Stewart Smith has been brought on as trading director.

Before Nisa, Guy Smith previously worked at Rentokil Initial Plc as head of investor relations and CFO, stated the release. He has also worked with Coca-Cola and Diesel Fashion Company.

Stewart Smith held several trading roles at Tesco Plc before joining Nisa, including group commercial wholesale director, reported the release.

“We are shaping a clear future for Nisa that is focused on delivering best in class support for our member retailers,” said Read in the release. “This will mean doing the basics well; buying the right products at the right price, while offering shoppers good value, and ensuring that we deliver on our promises to members.”
