LOS BANOS, Calif. — The area’s planning commission has decided to allow Mi Barrio Food and Gas Mart to sell gas, according to the Los Banos Enterprise.
The business opened six months ago on the former Circle K site, noted the article. It will now add eight gas pumps and additional parking.
Circle K will build a larger facility across the street from Mi Barrio, reported the article. It will also include a carwash.

Mi Barrio owner Jay Virk said in the article that he hopes to have the gas pumps going by April.
Commissioners were also pleased with the move. Commissioner Tom Spada shared in the article, “We appreciate the investment in the community.”
