CULLMAN, Ala. — Seventeen-year-old high school junior Nathan Haynes has operated his wash and detail business since July, according to CullmanSense.com.
Haynes worked in fast food before opening 278 Auto Wash and Detail, and he said he likes being his own boss, noted the article.
In addition to his business, Haynes takes advanced classes at school and is involved in various extracurricular activities as well, said the article. The young business owner also plans to attend college after high school to become a chiropractor, but he will get someone to run his business for him if it expands enough.

Haynes spreads the word about his business through signage, local television and print advertising, and his Facebook page.
He also uses his business cards as a promotional tool. Each card has 10 boxes, and customers receive a check in a box each time they come to the shop. After 10 checks, customers receive a free service, explained the article. He credits his mom with the idea.
Various services are offered at the business, including: outside wash, tire and wheel scrub, vacuum, carpet scent, cleaning door jambs and window, debugging, tar removal, shampoo and more, stated the article.
