NASHVILLE, Tenn. — According to www.wkrn.com, an employee of a Mister Car Wash in Madison, Tennessee, has been charged weeks after a customer reported that a gun had been stolen from his vehicle when it was cleaned at the business.
The employee, Kortnee Hall, 21, has been taken into custody on a charge of burglary of a motor vehicle, the article continued.
According to an arrest affidavit, on March 12th the theft victim took his car to the Mister Car Wash on Gallatin Pike North to be cleaned and left his gun in the center console.
However, when his vehicle was returned to him, the victim found the gun missing, the article stated.
A manager at Mister Car Wash provided surveillance video to detectives, which showed Hall and another employee cleaning out the car and then “in the front of the car for a period of time directly in front of the center console,” the affidavit read.
The video showed the other employee holding two towels in his hand and walking away from the vehicle with what appeared to be a gun and “a black barrel showing as the towel moves,” the affidavit stated.
Hall was held on $3,000 bond, and court records did not indicate if the other employee had been charged, the article concluded.
