LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Zips Car Wash continues its growth in Florida with the acquisition of Bio Car Wash, located at 1801 Palm Ave in Miramar, Florida, according to a press release.
The deal was finalized on Aug. 9th, the article continued.
Recent acquisitions in Florida make the Sunshine State the company’s largest market second only to its Tennessee stores, the article added.
“We are excited to now be operating 14 stores in Florida,” said Harrison Hemphill, chief operating officer for Zips Car Wash. “While our locations stretch from the Panhandle to the Miami area, we are excited about the growth we are seeing, and we anticipate being able to serve customers better on both ends of the state by offering more locations and consistent service at all sites.”
Zips Car Wash’s acquisition of Bio Car Wash is the second Florida acquisition for the company this month, the release stated; on Aug. 7th, Zips acquired Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Orange Park, Florida.
This most recent acquisition brings Zips to 82 stores in nine states, the release noted.
“We hope our newest location in Miramar will bring added convenience for our existing Miami Gardens customers as well as our clients in Boynton Beach,” added Hemphill. “Our now three stores in the area will all operated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and we hope to offer the same quality of service to customers in Miramar that we have in Boynton Beach and in Miami Gardens.”
