The Jan. 14 story said that 39-year-old Owner Arthur Cufaj is originally from Albania, but has lived here for the past 16 years. The vandalism included the spray painting of the words: Foreigners out and No foreigners.

“We had been hoping to open on January 1, as that’s when the lease started and that’s when we started paying rent, but we’ll now have to get the place cleaned up and get new signs put up so it’ll probably be another couple of weeks before we are open,” Cufaj said in the story.

Cufaj said he thinks he knows who is behind the vandalism, and doesn't think it has to do with the fact that he's from another country.
