YAKIMA, Wash. — While Officer Casey Gillette has been cleared of any guilt in the fatal shooting of Rocendo Arias, there are some that are not happy with how the aftermath of the situation has been handled, according to the Yakima Herald.
A small group, with no more than 10 people, mostly relations of Arias and another man killed by the Yakima police, participated in a rally on Saturday against the fatal shootings.

Gillette believed Arias was pointing a real gun at him, but it turned out to be a pellet gun. “Even if he had a real gun, he wasn’t shooting at anything,” said one attendee.
Both of the shootings were investigated and ruled justified.
