CINCINNATI — AAA Allied Group said cars should be fully cleaned after snowfall because of the chemicals used to clean the roads, according station WCPO.
People must have listened to the warnings, because washes were busy over the weekend.
It's not the exterior that people often noticed that needs to be cleaned. The underbody of the car is also important to clean, for protection of the brakelines and to prevent rust, according to AAA Allied Group.
The company purchased Rainbow Car Wash recently. Buying washes is part of a strategy by the company to protect and service vehicles at all stages of ownership.
