NEW YORK — For those of you considering adding on a pet wash, take note that according to a FranchiseHelp.com report, the pet industry is looking to “bloom” in the United States next year.
Americans, the report stated, “own more pets than ever before.”
The bottom line, according to the report, is that people are viewing their pets as part of the family and even willing to spend money on the furry friends, even when their wallets are tight.
Entrepreneur adds pet wash to self-serve location
According to the American Pet Product Association (APPA), in 2010, $47.7 billion was spent on pet products and services, and that number is expected to be even higher for 2012 and in the upcoming year.
