BRADENTON, FL — Clear Sunset Carwash held a fundraiser on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and donated the proceeds to a food bank, BayNews9 reported.
The Nov. 20 story stated that the business washed cars free all day long, and they asked for a minimum donation of $3. Everything they earned that day was donated to the Food Bank of Manatee.
Weekend wash event held to benefit food bank
"I found out not too long ago there are still a lot of people out there that aren't going to have food for Thanksgiving or Christmas," Tony Milen with Clear Sunset Carwash said in the story. "I mean, that's just unacceptable, so everyone has to pitch in and do what they have to do to help."
