Chain trading carwashes for donations

SACRAMENTO, CA — Seven Quick Quack Car Washes will be giving away free basic washes to customers that donate to Donut Dash.

SACRAMENTO, CA — Seven Quick Quack Car Wash locations here will be giving away free carwashes for any donation made to the Donut Dash, RocklinToday.com reported.

The Sept. 19 story stated that the Donut Dash is a non-profit charity that raises money for the Child Life Program at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento.

Donations will help children and their families cope with medical experiences by providing normal childhood activities, promoting development, teaching children about their illnesses and treatments and supporting families emotionally.

The special one-day fundraiser will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26. Customers who donate to the charity will receive a free basic wash.

ROME, Ga. — In a press release, Big Dan’s Car Wash announced the opening of two new locations, its 19th in Orlando, Florida, and 20th in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Located at 12600 John Young Pkwy., this expansion is the company’s second site in Orlando.

Their third Orlando site is expected to open at the end of May.
