CEBU, PHILIPPINES — After 10 years in business, the country’s largest carwash chain here is still looking for ways to innovate and improve services, the Sun Star reported.
The Sept. 13 story quoted President Vince Joseph Yap, “We are not perfect, that’s why we train hard to [be] better every day. We are always hungry to learn more and new techniques. As the saying goes, the day we stop learning is the day we start dying.”
To this end, Nice Day! supervisors receive regular training on customer service, handling customer complaints and selling skills. Also, new washers are required an average of 48 hours of training before they can clean cars on their own.
Nice Day! will open its 17th location this week. To mark the opening, the business will offer 50 percent off selected services.
