AMHERST, N.Y. — Griffco Valve Inc. has earned a certification for the design and manufacture of pressure relief/safety valves and back pressure valves, according to a press release.
The company also earned certification for CE under the Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) Category IV Modules B and D, stated the release.

“This represents a huge milestone in the recognition of Griffco safety valves,” said Colin Black, president of Griffco Valve, in the release. “Our history of manufacturing high-quality, reliable products combined with our comprehensive line of chemical feed accessories enables Griffco to offer the right products, certifications and safety standards to grow and support customers in North America, Europe and worldwide.”
According to the release, Griffco’s valve “is one of the first diaphragm pressure relief valves certified to this level of CE marking,” which should save customers money.
Griffco manufactures chemical feed equipment for pumps and systems including back pressure valves, pressure relief valves, calibration columns, injection valves and more, reported the release.
