Wash supports veterans organization

COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The company donated $3,000 to the nonprofit.

COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The Car Wash Barn has supported Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans with a $3,000 donation, according to kdhnews.com.

The wash has sponsored the organization’s annual picnic with free carwashes for several years, noted the article.

Ian Streckel, marketing coordinator for the wash, said in the article Star Group had asked the company for donations, then invited it to their meetings.

“We first came in September or October, and we really liked what they were about,” shared Streckel in the article. “We started talking about doing sponsorships and finally got around to it in January.”

Car Wash Barn owner Curtis Emmons stated in the article the donation fits in the company’s goals.

ROME, Ga. — In a press release, Big Dan’s Car Wash announced the opening of two new locations, its 19th in Orlando, Florida, and 20th in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Located at 12600 John Young Pkwy., this expansion is the company’s second site in Orlando.

Their third Orlando site is expected to open at the end of May.
