BARCELONA, Spain — Toyota Motor Europe has recognized Ficosa with the Value Analysis award, according to a press release.
Ficosa was selected for the award for its “know-how and the ability [to] offer high-quality products, optimizing the relation between function and cost and eliminating those costs that do not add value,” stated the release.

The Toyota Motor Europe award ceremony took place during the 2016 Annual Supplier Business Meeting, reported the release, which brought together more than 400 European suppliers this year.
Every year, continued the release, the awards recognize the leading providers in the areas of quality, value analysis, project management, cost and supply.
Ficosa has received awards from Toyota Motor Europe on multiple occasions, added the release.
Since 1998, informed the release, the company has developed and manufactured multiple solutions for Toyota in its production centers in Spain, Portugal, Turkey, China, Brazil, the U.S. and Mexico, which include gearshift systems, brake levers, mechanical cables, rearview mirrors and windshield washer systems.
Ficosa is a global provider devoted to the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of high-technology vision, connectivity, safety and efficiency systems for the automotive and mobility sectors, noted the release.
