CWONJ raises $57,000 for Children’s Specialized Hospital

UNION, N.J. — The Children’s Specialized Golf Outing, held on August 15 at the Suburban Golf Club, proved to be a success, according to Car Wash Operators of New Jersey (CWONJ) President Mike Conte in a press release.

The event raised money for an extremely worthy cause, the Children’s Specialized Hospital, the nation’s leading provider of inpatient and outpatient care for children from birth to 21 years of age who face special health challenges.

Children’s has 12 New Jersey locations and treats more than 16,000 children annually from all over the country.

“Our association has been raising money for Children’s since 2004, and to date we have raised $57,000 for them. We are very honored to have been able to do that,” said Conte. “This event means a great deal to our members.”

Children’s Community Engagement Coordinator Alexis D’Anton spoke on behalf of the hospital before introducing a family who has experienced the benefits of Children’s firsthand, according to the press release.

Shanette Pereira spoke from the heart about her family’s experience with Children’s after her son, Khalil, suffered a traumatic head injury when the vehicle he was riding in flipped 15 times, added the release.

“The story that Shanette shared with our members was poignant and heartbreaking,” said Conte. “It just drives home the importance of our event and the money we raise for the hospital.”

CWONJ would like to acknowledge its vendor sponsors without whom the event could not happen:

Three times the charm for Hydra-Flex

EAGAN, Minn. — Inc. recently ranked Hydra-Flex number 2191 on its 35th annual Inc. 5000, which is a ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, according to a press release.

The list, added the release, represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment, its independent small businesses.

According to the press release, with three-year growth of 168 percent and being one of only 165 manufacturers on the 2016 Inc. 5000 list, Hydra-Flex CEO Jaime Harris attributes the success and growth of the company to their innovative products and dedicated employees.

“We provide measureable results to our customers and continue to innovate fluid handling tools to save money, reduce waste, last longer, work faster, etc. It is an honor to be on the list for a third time because of our consistent growth. This growth is a testimony not only of our quality products, but also of the exceptional personnel standing behind them. Hydra-Flex employees work hard, play hard, and remain extremely passionate about what they do,” said Harris.

“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great ¾ usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”

MacNeil reveals updated website

BARRIE, Ontario, Canada — MacNeil Wash Systems recently announced the unveiling of a new, responsive website that makes it even easier for customers to find the information they need on the site while improving the overall usability, according to a company press release.

The site, added the release, makes it much easier for customers to self-identify the parts of the site that are relevant to them and makes it easy to access MacNeil’s services and product offerings.

“MacNeil’s new website has greatly improved the ease-of-use for our customers when it comes to identifying and accessing the information they are searching for,” said Mike Gillen, CEO of National Carwash Solutions. “We’re always looking for ways to make the customer experience better, and this new website is another step forward in achieving that goal.”

With the website redesign, noted the release, MacNeil has moved the parts ordering portion of the old site to a completely separate site, www.macneilwash.direct; having this section separated makes the process of ordering parts even easier for customers with a simple design and search boxes for both part number and keyword.

According to the press release, there is also significant new content available for customers to increase their knowledge of the products and services available to them when making decisions on their specific wash systems.
