How Cyber Criminals Think & Act

Understanding how credit card theft takes place is not just about the technology criminals use — it is about the psychology behind the crime. Trying to stop and prevent someone from stealing your data goes well beyond any tips and tricks. In this session, John M. Stengel with JSCM Group will share the psychology of cybercrime and the motivations. You will learn where these actors come from, what they use to sell the information and what their financial gains are. This will be a behind-the-scenes journey of cybercrime that will give you the tools to mitigate your risk at the wash!

Presenter: John M. Stengel, President & CEO, JSCM Group, Charlotte, North Carolina

Keynote Address with Denise Ryan: Managing Millennials

Millennials: We can’t live with them or succeed without them. How do we reward them in a way that works but allows the rest of us to get our own jobs done? How do independent Gen Xers handle giving what seems like constant feedback?

This session addresses all of that and more. It is designed to help leaders manage a workforce with what seems like vastly different needs and expectations. The session is jam-packed with all the things you will need to really motivate as well as effectively manage your younger employees. And most of the tips will make everyone feel happier too!

Keynote Speaker: Denise Ryan, owner of FireStar Speaking, is a motivational speaker based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a master’s degree in business. She energizes a workforce by motivating employees with equal parts enthusiasm, frankness and humor. She has spoken for Fortune 500s as well as small businesses and government agencies.
