EL PASO, Texas — According to the El Paso Times, a 75-year-old carwash employee was beaten after he woke a man sleeping in one of the carwash bays.
The assault, which has not yet been solved, was caught on security cameras, the article continued.
The employee was cleaning the carwash bays at Rob’s Carwash at 6:30 a.m. when he found a man sleeping in one of them, the article noted.
The employee woke the man, who then charged at the employee and began punching him multiple times in the face, the article added.
Even as the employee tried to call for help, the man continued to beat him, the article stated.
Then, the suspect, who is between the ages of 30 to 40 years old, allegedly took the employee’s cellphone, picked up the blanket he had been sleeping on and fled, according to officials.
