ANKENY, Iowa — Casey’s General Stores Inc. will hold its second annual Miracle Balloon fundraiser supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals during the month of February, according to a press release.
Throughout February customers can purchase Miracle Balloons for $1, noted the release. The funds will support hospitals in the stores’ communities to fund critical treatments, healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care.
Casey’s has raised nearly $700,000 for the charity since beginning its partnership, reported the release. Customers can purchase the balloons from more than 1,850 Casey’s locations.

“Being able to give back to our local communities is something we, at Casey’s, hold as a core value,” said Bob Myers, Casey’s chairman and CEO, in the release. “We are inspired by the charitable giving of our customers and the dedication of our associates to help save the lives of kids, and are thrilled to be kicking off our second annual fundraiser benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.”
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada, stated the release.
