VICTORIA, Australia — Grand Wash Auto raised $6,039 during its appeal for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre, according to a press release.
The amount was raised from a combination of customer and Grand Wash Auto donations, said the article.
The Grand Wash Auto team also took part in an 8km walk and the post-walk Ivanhoe Street Party, noted the article.

Grand Wash Auto owner Ali Sadiku shared in the release how satisfying it was to partner with the center for the second year.
“In addition to our business donation, we established a new system on our paystations that enabled customers to donate effortlessly,” added Ali in the release. “We are looking forward to getting involved again next year.”
An estimated 2,000 people participated in the walk total, and more than $136,000 was raised in peer-to-peer fundraising alone, stated Director of Fundraising Sharon Hillman, in the release.
