No injuries were reported from the shooting that occurred at the intersection of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. and Garden St., the article continued.

Security footage captured the image of a shirtless male wearing long black shorts running south from the parking lot of the carwash and pointing a handgun at a white SUV driving east, the article noted.

The suspect chased the SUV after it turned onto Garden St. and drove away, and then he returned to the parking lot to pick up several spent shell casings, the article stated.

The suspect then got into a gray Nissan Altima with tinted windows and fled the area, heading east, the article added.

Police later caught up to the driver of the SUV, Eric Brown, 32, who was uncooperative and did not wish to press charges, the article concluded.
