NEW ALBANY, Ohio — A new Turkey Hill gas station and convenience store development will soon be constructed, following the approval of the New Albany Planning Commission, according to thisweeknews.com.
The 4,600-square-foot development will feature a c-store with 38 parking spaces, 10 gas pumps, carwash and a RedBox movie vending machine, said the article.

The commission had to approve several ordinances for the plans to move forward. Variances were needed to allow the location to sell products outside the store; to prevent the c-store from having eight active doors on every side of the building; and to change the 200-foot setback required from residences to 100 feet, reported the article.
The article also says the developer will build a leisure center behind the facility so neighboring hotels can access the location.
One commissioner asked if the carwash would make much noise, but a spokesperson for Turkey Hill said door will close behind cars, and most of the noise from the wash is generated by the air dryers, stated the article.
