LOCUST, N.C. — Earp’s, based in Mint Hill, is planning to expand, according to The Mint Hill Times.
Earp’s Express will feature diesel fuel, a convenience store and a state-of-the-art touch-free carwash, stated the release.
Chad Earp, owner, said the business is expected to open in December, reported the article.
“We saw some opportunity and the community has been very supportive of us over the last 62 years,” stated Earp in the article. “We’ve done some neat things with this site graphics-wise, color-wise and logo-wise that we’re real excited about.”
Earp, a third-generation operator, currently has three other locations, continued the article, with two sites in Mint Hill and one in Charlotte.
In 1952 his grandfather opened the first location, noted the article, which is still in operation.
“We just want to tell everybody thanks,” said Earp in the article. “We appreciate their continued support and we’re here to serve the community.”
