AKRON, Ohio — In this week’s video, Editorial Director Rich DiPaolo delves deeper into the science of the microfiber towel.

DiPaolo asks, “Did you know that in 1970, Toray Industries scientist Dr. Miyoshi Okamoto invented the world’s first microfiber? Since its invention half a century ago, these towels have usually been made of a blend of polyester and polyamide or nylon.”
