PRINCETON, N.J. — Though not yet at pre-recession levels, the latest Wells Fargo/Gallup Small Business Index shows small business owners are more optimistic than they have been since 2008, according to Gallup.com.
The Index score rose to 58 in November, up from 49 in July, said the article. In 2010 the score dropped to as low as -28. The all-time high for the score is 114, reached in late 2006.
The score includes survey results of small business owners from Nov. 10-14, noted the article.

Owners’ future expectations and present situation ratings are also higher than they have been since 2008, stated the article.
Twenty-six percent of small business owners say jobs at their companies will increase over the next 12 months, while eight percent say that number will go down, reported the article.
