RICHMOND, Va. — Rio Car Wash announced it will offer free carwashes to veterans and active military at all of their Virginia locations, according to a press release.
The promotion is part of the Grace for Vets program, stated the release, which consists of carwashes that provide free washes to veterans and active service personnel each year on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

In order to receive a free carwash, reported the release, a customer should let a Rio Car Wash attendant know he or she is a veteran or is currently in the military.
No proof of status will be required, added the release.
“My father, Neil Small, is a Marine Corp. veteran and co-owner of our Stafford location,” said Jeff Small of Rio Car Wash in the release. “We are honored to offer those who have [served], and are [currently] serving, the opportunity to enjoy a clean automobile as a thank you for their service.”
Established in 1995, noted the release, the carwash has grown to include four locations in Virginia and feature state-of-the-art all soft cloth equipment and premium car care products.
