Carwash Connection: Microfiber versus cotton

AKRON, Ohio — In this week’s video, Editorial Director Rich DiPaolo provides a short overview of the differences between microfiber and cotton towels.

DiPaolo says, “Since its widespread use in this industry and others, microfiber towels, due to their absorbency and durability, have become a popular choice across all wash formats for many carwash operators. Cotton terry towels, however, have been the gold standard for 100 years, especially when it comes to drying vehicles, and they still remain popular.”
