Pro & Local Mobile Detailing wins BBB Marketplace Excellence Award

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Paul Frasco and Chris Vella, owners of Pro & Local Mobile Detailing were awarded a Marketplace Excellence Award for Sustained Excellence from the Better Business Bureau of Central and Western Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut, according to a press release.

The Marketplace Excellence Awards for the Western Massachusetts region are held in the spring to recognize local businesses that promote the importance of high ethical standards for business practices and ensure the local marketplace is fair and ethical, the release continued.

Frasco and Vella were presented with the award at a ceremony held at the Castle of Knights Meeting and Banquet House in Chicopee, Massachusetts on April 24th, the release added.

Awards for Marketplace Excellence are nominated locally and selected according to a rigorous judging process by an independent panel of judges based on commitment to customers, commitment to employees, their reputation in their business’ industry and commitment to the communities where they do business, the release stated.

Announcing 6 new N1 Buying Group members

CHICAGO — The N1 Buying Group has welcomed six new members to the buying group: Breeze Thru Carwashes of Colorado; Busy Bee Carwashes of Miami, Florida; Complete Car Wash Systems of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Executive Laser Washes of Iowa; Metro Express Carwashes of Idaho; and PureMagic Carwashes of Tennessee, according to a press release.

These latest six Members bring a collective of 26 wash locations to the prominent N1 Membership base, the release continued.

Following N1’s first Annual Members’ Meeting and the distribution of rebate checks to its members, held just prior to the SWCA Convention & Expo, the N1 Buying Group has seen a steady stream of passionate carwash distributors and multi-site operators coming onboard to enjoy the membership benefits, the release added.

N1 has also continued to form solid partnerships with many additional suppliers, helping N1 offer even more value to its members, the release noted.

H2WOW Carwash donates over $2,500 to ‘Wash Away Thirst’

DENVER— In honor of Earth Day, H2WOW Carwash donated 50% of its wash sales from April 22-23 to Wash Away Thirst, according to a press release. 

Between its two locations, H2WOW raised a total of $2,508 to help provide clean water in 2019, the release continued. 

Wash Away Thirst is a community of professional carwashes, vendors and clean car enthusiasts joining together to raise money for clean water, the release noted.

There are still 663 million people in the world who do not have access to clean water, and Wash Away Thirst has provided over $70,000 to clean water projects since its foundation in 2009 and is hoping to break the $100,000 mark this year, the release added.

“Water is essential to our business and one of the biggest needs in our world today. Flying Ace Express Car Wash grand opening raises $7,351 for Beavercreek’s Feed The Creek

DAYTON, Ohio— Flying Ace Express Car Wash has announced the donation of $7,351 to Beavercreek’s Feed The Creek non-profit organization, which provides weekend food assistance for area Beavercreek children in need, according to a press release.

The donations were collected from Flying Ace Express customers at the company’s Seajay Dr. Grand Opening/Free Wash Week held April 6-15, 2019, the release continued.

During the grand opening, Flying Ace Express offered a free signature “Flying Ace” carwash ($15 value) to every customer in exchange for a monetary donation to Feed The Creek, the release noted, and throughout the week, Flying Ace Express gave away more than 5,170 free carwashes.

Flying Ace Express also offered discounted retail gift cards with all proceeds donated back to Feed The Creek, the release added.
